Paul B. Gallagher is a professional with over 40 years’ experience translating Russian technical documents into English for a variety of clients. His own areas of special expertise include petroleum and geology, medicine and pharmaceuticals, aerospace, and law.
A former teacher of English as a Second Language with a master’s degree in linguistics, Mr. Gallagher is well versed in the presentation of information in English and the correction of garbled translations. His involvement in the company assures that translations are clear and concise and read like originals. The pbg touch means thoughts flow freely and naturally; the reader is guided smoothly from idea to idea without lurches or bumps.
Mr. Gallagher has been an active, certified (formerly “accredited”) member of the American Translators Association since 1985. With over 10,000 members, the ATA has been an invaluable source of information and contacts with other professional translators. Mr. Gallagher served four years as the Administrator of the ATA Korean Language Division, and was just elected as Assistant Administrator of the Science and Technology Division.
In 2025, Mr. Gallagher celebrated his 40th anniversary as a full-time professional translator, and pbg celebrated its 28th anniversary.
