Paul B. Gallagher is a professional with over 38 years’ experience translating Russian technical documents into English for a variety of clients. His own areas of special expertise include petroleum and geology, medicine and pharmaceuticals, aerospace, and law.
A former teacher of English as a Second Language with a master’s degree in linguistics, Mr. Gallagher is well versed in the presentation of information in English and the correction of garbled translations. His involvement in the company assures that translations are clear and concise and read like originals. The pbg touch means thoughts flow freely and naturally; the reader is guided smoothly from idea to idea without lurches or bumps.
Mr. Gallagher has been an active, certified (formerly “accredited”) member of the American Translators Association since 1985. With over 10,000 members, the ATA has been an invaluable source of information and contacts with other professional translators.
In 2024, Mr. Gallagher will celebrate his 39th anniversary as a full-time professional translator, and pbg will celebrate its 27th anniversary.
